FAQs

The best way to get in contact with us and make a booking is through email. If you know which artist you would like to go with the best way to make a booking with them is to visit their portfolio page and fill out their “Click for bookings” contact form.

For general enquires you are welcome to email us, send us a WhatsApp or give us a call.

We use Calendly to book our clients. Once we have given you a link please you can open the system on your browser by clicking the link. You can then select a day that works for you and is unavailable (indicated in blue), you can then select an available time. Once you have filled in your details and relevant information and clicked “Schedule event” your booking has been made. There is no need to follow up or wait for a confirmation from our side. You should receive a calendar invitation on the email you provided, please accept it. We will then manually send you a quote from our finance system Xero. Please take note of the expiry date on the quote. If there is a problem with the booking we will send you an email to resolve it.

We recommend giving the area you want tattooed a good wash and exfoliation the night before you can also shave the area. Get a good nights rest to keep your energy levels up for the next day.  Wear tattoo appropriate clothing while keeping the area to be tattooed in mind (If you are getting a thigh piece it’s not the best idea to wear jeans on the day) You can also bring a change of clothes if needs be. Have a good breakfast or lunch on the day of the tattoo, we also suggest bringing a snack and a drink on the day.

We require a R500 non-refundable deposit when you book due to no shows and cancellations! A quote will be manually sent to you for the deposit via our finance system Xero. Please accept the quote and take note of the expiry date. If the deposit is not paid by the expiry date we will send a follow up email. If that email is not responded to within 3 days we will unfortunately have to remove your booking.

Please be 100% sure on your tattoo design before your appointment. We usually set aside 15 – 30 minutes of your appointment time to set up for the tattoo. If too much time is spent figuring out what you want tattooed this will take up your tattoo time, put unnecessary pressure on your artist and may lead to an incomplete tattoo.

We don’t usually do design work for small and simple tattoos prior to your appointment. We will set aside extra time to finalize the tattoo on the day.

If you have paid for a design fee you can expect to have a design sent to you about 2 weeks before your appointment. If you have not received your design a week before your appointment please send us a follow up email.

We will not copy another artists work.

Remove the covering.

With clean hands, gently wash the tattoo thoroughly with warm water and Protex/Dettol Antibacterial soap until all the residue is cleared. Pat dry gently and then apply a thin layer of Bepanthen (or any cream recommended to you by your tattoo artist). Apply the cream once in the morning and once in the evening. You may apply the cream during the day if the tattoo is feeling dry.

Avoid soaking / swimming / gym or bathing, A quick shower is recommended while the tattoo is healing. Also avoid the sun with your healing tattoo, and always use a high factor SPF once it is healed.

Please don’t pick or scratch your tattoo while it’s healing -Yes it is annoying….BUT DON’T DO IT!!!

And lastly congrats on your new tattoo!!

ENJOY!!
